Uneasing is a loose unravelling of the 'easing' of lockdown 2020.

Released at a time of reintroduced 'normality', hefty beats sit alongside befuddled electronics to condense a precarious summer into 36 minutes. Modular experiments are interwoven with imploded soundscapes from covid raves (unhealthy); broken beats and atmospherics have been derived from crowd recordings taken at Black Lives Matter protests (healthy).

Amongst the quickly-shifting rhythms and drones, guest voice-artists (Joshua Idehen, Victoria Richards) recite lockdown dreams and an askance meditation (Jessi Brown), resulting in a vivid and multi-layered experience at the crossroads of experimental electronica, post-punk and distracted techno...

*Black Minds Matter U.K. connects Black individuals and families with free professional UK mental health services, making mental health topics relevant and accessible for all Black people in the U.K.

**Rainbow Noir is a volunteer led social, peer support and community action group, which celebrates and platforms people of colour who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer and/or Intersex (LGBTQI).
